The depth of our language and the betrayal of translation
As a French Native, very often I realize that what I say in English, or another language, is slightly off from what I feel. This example here is one of them. When I say "I miss you" it loses the real feeling I experience inside of me.
Each culture and language has weaved into its words an emotion and intention, a part of their culture, that is often lost when the words are translated.
